There was a solar eclipse. We had to get special glasses to be able to look up at the sun. It happened in the middle of the day and it was a little creepy as the birds stopped chirping, the temperature dropped and the crickets came out. For a few minutes, it felt almost like night time. We weren't in the line of a total eclipse but it was still fun to see. Many people drove up to Idaho so they could see it complete.
