Thanksgiving

November 2012
We had such a fun Thanksgiving this year!  We reserved the Harold B Lee Hall from our stake which is just a big gym.  We had Grandma and Poppy, Tee and her family, Mindy and her family, Bubba came with his kids, Hailey and her roommate.
Everyone brought food and we had SO much food and SO much food left over!
We had activities for the kids.
 Ellie helped decorate the tables.
We made pvc pipe bows with dowel arrows-these boys found a mouse in the kitchen and were trying to shoot it!
We had a photo booth set up with these fun props Grandma brought.

We were all introduced to Baby Lyla!

The women painted Christmas decorations while the kids painted pictures.

We had a TV set up with football playing, the kids played the wii, we had blankets and a blow-up mattress set up.  We had a really great time with everyone!

Scheels

A new sports store opened up so we went to check it out.  There are places you can pose for pictures and there is a ferris wheel in the middle of the store.  We went one night and they had a fun class for the kids.  Each child got a package of swedish fish then they took us on a tour of the huge fish aquarium.  We watched as a man scuba dived into the tank to clean it, then we got to see all the fish that are waiting to be let into the aquarium and we got to see the big tanks that run the aquarium.  We ended by them giving us a free ride on the ferris wheel!  It was a fun night.

Halloween

October 2012
Ellie and Kale got to dress up for school and be in the Halloween Parade around the school.

We carved pumpkins and put candles in them.  Halloween night we went to the church for Trunk-or-treating.
We also had a Halloween family party with our cousins Summer, London and Noah.

Ellie turns 6!

October 2012
Ellie woke-up in the morning to birthday decorations all over the house!  She wanted a Junie B. Jones party because she loves these books so there were pictures of the book covers hanging from the ceiling!
Ellie got to take a treat to her class at school.  She took mini cupcakes and she got to pass them out to all the kids in the class.

Grandma and Poppy came over that night and we had yummy chocolate cake and Ellie received a lot of fun gifts.
We ended the evening by decorating Junie B. Jones masks and posing for a picture!
