Snails
June 2015
We had a lot of snails this year! Max made a snail house for a lot of them. He also had races to see which ones could go the fastest!
Cub Camp
June 2015
Kale had a great time with all the webloes at cub camp. It was fun for Dad and I to go one day with the boys. They had a competition on the row boats to see who could go down the lake, around some markers and back the fastest. They won with a land slide!
Riding a bike
June 2015
Max wanted nothing to do with riding a bike! We coaxed him onto his bike multiple times and he had no interest. We finally got him on and he learned to ride it in about 5 minutes. Now, he is all over the place!
Cooking

Ellie loves to cook. She is always asking if she can make something so we made cupcakes!
Mini Music
June 2015
Max was in Grandma's "Mini Music" class this year. At the end, they had a graduation ceremony and showed the families all they learned throughout the year.
This is the place heritage park
June 2015
Every summer, This is the place has a free day. We decided to go and it was so much fun. The kids spent most the time panning for gold. They got to keep everything they found. We did work like a pioneer, they made leather bracelets, and we ate homemade donuts!
Summer library kickoff

We kicked off the summer by attending a super hero library night. The kids made capes and masks and played super hero games. This was to kick off a summer full of reading.
4th grade
May 2015
I went with all the 4th graders to the Great Salt Lake. We saw a lot of amazing birds and looked for brine shrimp.
All the 4th graders had an entire day called the "Mountain Man Rendezvous". They had different stations that the kids went to that helped them learn about mountain men-candle making, leather pouches, catching a fish with their bare hands, pie eating contest, learning about weapons used, and tomahawk throwing. It was a fun day!
Playing Barbies

I walked into Dad and Ellie playing barbies one day. It melted my heart and made Ellie so happy to have a play mate!
New play ground
May 2015
There is a new playground right down the street from our house. The kids had fun climbing up this new jungle jim.
Recorder
May 2015
Kale and all the other 4th graders, learned to play the recorder this year at school. At the end of the year, all the 4th graders put on a program were they played songs on their recorders. Kale got a certificate for learning all the songs he needed to!
Kindergarten
May 2015
Max had a tough start to this school year but he ended on a great note. All the kindergarteners put on a program for the parents where they sang some songs. At the end of year awards ceremony, Ellie and Max both won the citizenship award given to those kids who were kind and helpful throughout the year. They deserved it! Max had a great kindergarten teacher!
Pine Wood Derby
April 2015
Kale was another winner this year at the pine wood derby. He had a great time racing his car!
Lacrossse
April 2015
Kale played spring lacrosse this year. He had a great time learning how to play the game and we loved watching him!
UNO
April 2015
Max is the worlds best Uno player. We play all the time as a family and he wins every time!
Kindergarten Zoo Trip
April 2015
I got to go with Max to the zoo with all the other Kindergarteners. We had a great time looking at all the animals with all of Max's friends!
Easter
April 2015
The Easter bunny brought the kids roller blades this year. Ellie was a pro so fast and Max didn't want to take his off!
Thanksgiving Point

Grandma and Poppy gave us a pass to Thanksgiving Point for Christmas. It has been fun going to different museums this year.
Date night

Look at this handsome kid! I bribed him at date night to get a haircut and I would take him to Barnes and Noble. He looked so cute, I had to take a picture!
Easter Sleepover

During spring break, we had a fun sleepover with our friends the Frandsen's. We had a great time all night then in the morning made cute bunny pancakes for breakfast!
Cousin Sleepover

Kira and Morgan had a new baby and we got to have a fun sleepover with their kids. Kale, Ellie and Max were so excited to have them spend the night!
Legos
March 2015
A lego display came to Utah. All the displays were places or monuments from our countries history. It was amazing to see all the legos for such great places.
