Every year, the girls and I all take a little weekend trip to get away. This year, we rented a house by Bear Lake. We stopped at Barnes and Noble and there happened to be an author there signing books. His name is Richard Paul Evans and he writes a series called Michael Vey that Kale really likes.
We stopped at a restaurant called Sills to eat scones and yummy breakfast for dinner!
We drove into Logan one day to do some shopping and eat lunch.
We always spend a lot of time talking, playing games and doing a few crafts.
We stayed on the Idaho side of Bear Lake so decided to stop and buy a lottery ticket!
We picked numbers for our ticket.
Shawna bought a single lottery ticket and actually won $5!
One night, Shawna cooked us some dutch oven Mexican chicken and a yummy lemon cake.
