Family

After hundreds of pictures, We finally some good some good pictures of the kids and us!

Christmas

We have been so blessed this year and it was fitting to have a great Christmas. The kids anticipated Christmas for months. It was so fun to see their faces on Christmas morning to see that Santa had come to our house. They each got a ZuuZuu Pet and have had a kick playing with them on the floor. We also got a Wii which has been a huge hit with Kale. We can't pry him away from it!

Aquarium

We took advantage of the free day at the Aquarium. We were lucky it was on a Monday so Nate could go with us. We have been there a couple of times before but they added a penguin exhibit that we had never seen so it was fun to see that. There were lots of people there but it was fun. Max slept most of the time but woke-up to see the stingrays. We spend a really long time at the stingrays so the kids could touch them!

Nate's birthday

Nate had a milestone birthday this year by turning 35! We had fun celebrating. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful father and husband!

Snow

We haven't had a ton of snow this year but we have had one good dump! The kids were so excited to go out and play in it. It takes a good 20 minutes to get all their gear on and they went out play for a while, ate a ton of it then came in freezing!

Thanksgiving

We had the most relaxing Thanksgiving this year. We stayed home and ate with just our little family. It was nice to sleep in and make our meal without all the stress and bustle of having a full house. I love this holiday and was glad I could spend it with my favorite people!

Max and his shoes!

Max is such a funny kid. He loves putting on Ellies shoes and playing around. He does so well in them he even walks up and down the stairs in them. He looks so cute in them!

Tyra's Birthday

Can't belive I am another year older!! 33 seems so old! Nate and the kids surprised me with a beautiful homemade cake that all the kids decorated. It was a fun night. Ellie made me a sewn picture of her hand that she had made with Grandma. It is priceless!

Instead of Carving pumpkins this year, we decorated small pumpkins with markers. This kids had a lot of fun doing this!

Halloween

We started the day at Kale's school for the Halloween parade. It was so fun to see all the kids dressed up. We went to Grandma and Poppy's house for a Halloween dinner and party. We played lots of fun games and had lots of candy. Then we went Trunk-or-Treating at the church. It downpoured so we got a little bit of candy and soaking wet!

Piano

Kale started piano lessons this year. He has really taken off and caught on very quickly. He has had two mini recitals one for Halloween and one for Christmas. They were informal but helped the kids to really know their pieces and play them in front of others. Kale did fantastic at both of them. He had his pieces memorized. At the Christmas recital he also did a duet with his teacher!

Ellie's Birthday

Ellie turned 4 on October 25. I am so glad we have a girl in our family! She makes this so happy and exciting. It is fun to have girly things around like dress-ups and dolls. She is so smart and such a great sister to her brothers. She wanted a princess party. We had party hats and we played musical chairs and all had to dance like we were at the ball!!
