Ward Camp Out

June 2017
We always look forward to the ward campout.  It is a time that starts off the summer, helps us visit with our ward members and have a great time.  This year it was a little chilly because it was the first weekend in June but we had a great time!

Lazy summer days

June 2017
The first Sunday of summer was nice and lazy! We didn't have to get up early the next day so we roasted marshmallows, got a blanket out and played and talked to each other, ate popsicles, had makeovers and just had an enjoyable time!

Last day of school

June 2017
Kale got to help on the last day of school by taking the flag down.  All the students stood outside and were very quiet as the flag was lowered and folded up.  When it was all done, there were cheers all around as it was the start to summer!

6th Grade Graduation

June 2017
This was Kale's last year of Elementary school. The school had a very nice program they put on.  The 6th graders sang some songs they had learned, they talked about going on to a new school and had a special speaker.  They then did a ceremony where each student got to walk and receive a certificate.  kale had Miss Smith this year and has been so blessed by her patience and understanding toward Kale.

Field Day

May 2017
One of the funnest days of the school year is field day.  The last half of the day the kids get to do different water activities and eat snow cones, popcorn and cotton candy.

The sixth graders get to sit on the dunk tank.  Kale sat on it a few times and got dunked into the water!

Memorial Day

May 2017
It was a fun Memorial Day.  We drove up to Roy and put flowers on the graves of my grandparents Stoker.  We looked at other relatives that were buried their as well.  A police officer that worked with Nate was buried there as well.  He lost his life in Iraq during war.  We then went to the cemetery in Bountiful and Grandma and poppy shared some history of our relatives buried there.

We ended the day with a great dinner and sparklers!

Hair

May 2017
Max loves his hair and loves to comb it into different styles.  One day, he asked Ellie if he could do her hair.  I love when he asked to comb my hair.  He is so gentle and it gives me a good massage.

Cub Scouts

May 2017
Max had to plant some vegetables, and make a meal for one of his requirements in Cub Scouts. He planted lettuce, cucumber, sunflowers, basil and pumpkins.  Each on of them grew in our house and we transplanted them outside.  We at cucumbers, salad, Max had a cute pumpkin just in time for Halloween and we put the basil in our spaghetti sauce.  The sunflower took a while to grow after we transplanted it but eventually grew taller than our fence an had about four cute sunflowers on it.
For dinner, Max cooked milk toast.  This is one of the kids most favorite meals.
After he did his requirements, at pack meeting, he got is belt loop!

Pie Face

May 2017
We got this game for Christmas and every once in a while when we have some spray cream, it is brought out.  You put spray cream on the hand and crank the lever until it pops up and the cream lands on your face.  Ellie and Max had so much fun getting each other with the cream! We had a lot of laughs!
