On Memorial day, we drove into France to visit the Maginot Line. This was an underground bunker that was built after World War I and used during World War II. We went down inside the bunker and took a tour around the inside. The tour was in French but they had some brochures for us to read while we walked through.
We then drove into a little French village called Soufflenheim. They are famous for their pottery. I bought a bundt type pan and was given the cake recipe that the natives cook in it. When we entered the village, everyone had pots in pants all over and at so many of the houses!
