4th of July

After the parade, we gathered up and went to Grandma and Poppy house for a day of food, games and fireworks.  We had a yummy BBQ, we made home made ice cream, played lots of games, did fireworks and watched the neighbors do fireworks.  The neighbors across the street had a little too much to drink and one of their fireworks, went off side ways and landed in the tree.  It was a dried out tree and started on fire.  They didn't think it was a big deal but from our view, we could see the flames going up.  We grabbed the hose and Poppy called the fire department. We got it out before the fire engine came.  They were glad we got it out because they had to go to another call immediatly!
