Idaho Falls, Jackson Hole, Grand Tetons, Star Valley and Bear Lake

April 2017
The Idaho Falls temple has been closed for a few years getting a complete indoor remodel.  We decided to take a long weekend and drive up to go through the open house.  The temple was BEAUTIFUL.  They restored all the original hand painted walls.  We stopped at a rest stop and changed our clothes then went straight to the temple.

We spent the night in a hotel in Idaho Falls and spent the night swimming. We did take a break to eat dinner and the kids had some money so we went to the toy store to get something for each of them.

The next day, we took drive toward Jackson Hole.  We stopped at a gas station that had square ice cream cones.  It was 9o'clock in the morning but we had to try the ice cream in a square!

Mom bought some nostalgic Idaho candy!
We arrived in Jackson Hole and parked by these statues.

At a toy store in Jackson, the kids got to do some target shooting with some laser guns.

We at lunch in Jackson and then headed to see the Grand Tetons.

On our way home, we stopped in Star Valley, Wyoming to see their temple.  It was so tiny.  Angel Moroni looked huge at the top!

We then stopped in Bear Lake to get a shake.
