Summer 2016
The kids and I volunteered at This is the place heritage park this summer. We spent almost once a week there giving tours and history of some of the houses in the park. It was fun to dress up like pioneers and pretend to be them for the day. We learned a lot about pioneers and their lives. We appreciated a little more the modern convenience we have!
Legend has it that the stars are picked out of the sky by the tall branches of the trees and they can be found inside the fallen branches!
