Bobcat

March 2013

Kale received his Bobcat award for Cub Scouts. He had to memorize a lot of the Cub Scout motto's and worked really hard!

Ellie and Mom gave each other a make over! Ellie had a great time putting make-up on Mom and doing her hair!

We took a trip to downtown Salt Lake City to see the planetarium. It is fairly new and we used to live really close to it but never went. They had some pretty cool exhibits-these being 2 of them! Walking on the Moon and walking on Mars!

Scuba Diving

February 2013

Mom's cousin Dave is a scuba diving instructor and he let us all into his dive shop one night to try on all the scuba diving equipment. Dad did fantastic and really enjoyed it. Mom got a little claustrophobic in the water. Kale put on all the gear and was swimming all over the pool! It was really fun!

Ballet West

February 2013

Ellie and Mom attended Cinderella put on by Ballet West. Ellie was in heaven! It was such a beautiful ballet!

The chickens moved into Grandma and Poppy's backyard!!

We sold our house!!

January 2013

We put our house up for sale to see if it would even sell! We had about three offers a couple days later. Within a two week period, we put our house up for sale, sold it and moved out! It was a crazy few weeks and we did it in freezing temperatures! Because we sold our house so fast and didn't have a new place yet, we moved in with Grandma and Poppy Stoker for a few months!

Max turns 4

January 2013

We celebrated Max turning 4 at Grandma and Poppy's house. Max chose to have an Elmo party so we made cupcakes and had oreo ice cream!

Sledding

Fresh snow=great sledding! We had to stop at the store to buy new sleds and Max fell asleep in the car! By the time we got to the park he was wide awake and ready to go down the hill!

Christmas Festivities

December 2012

Every year after Thanksgiving, the lights at temple square are turned on. We went downtown and walked around the new City Creek center across from Temple Square then made our way over to temple square when it started getting dark and watched the light turn on.

This year, we decided to purchase a real Christmas tree. It was fun going down each isle to find that perfect tree. It was snowing when we went out and the kids had fun flicking the snow off the branches at each other. We did find the best tree, tied it to the top of the car and took it home.
