New Year's Eve

December 2018

We had a fondue New Year's Eve dinner.  We had two kinds of fondue.  One was boiling broth and the other cheese.  We had different meat, veggies and bread.  You can't have fondue without chocolate so for dessert we had chocolate with fruit, marshmallows and cake.

 It was a super cold night so we got all bundled up and blew our horns then went outside to do sparklers to bring on the new year!

Sill's

One of the days the kids were home from school for Christmas break, we decided to sleep in then go up to a wonderful breakfast cafe called Sill's.  It is so popular that the line was out the door and we had to wait a long time.  It is so worth it though! Giant pancakes, scones, and biscuits and gravy!

Snow

We didn't have a ton of snow while the kids were on Christmas break but the little that we did have, the kids of course were at the church sledding.

Christmas day we decided to go see a movie then home for our annual buffet!

We are always so blessed to have such great Christmas'.  This year did not disappoint. 

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve we had a ham and cheesy potatoes.  Our Christmas tree was loaded up by Santa!

White elephant

We have two families from our ward over for a Christmas dinner and then we played a white elephant game.  It was a lot of fun and we all ended up with some great and interesting gifts!

Kale

Kale has been involved in Hope Squad for the last couple of years.  These are a group of kids that get together and learn about suicide and how to help their fellow students who have suicidal thoughts.

 Kale preformed for the school to show off their skills!

Pin ball

Our neighbors across the street the Stingfellow's, have had this pin ball machine for years.  It hasn't worked and they finally got it fixed and invited us over to play it. 

Puzzles

We went a little crazy with the puzzles this year.  We put so many together.  Every night, we would sit around the table and work on it.  The deer one though, was SO hard we finally gave up on it because it was taking so long!

Orchestra concert

Kale's orchestra concert was great.  He looked so handsome in his suit and they sounded so good!

Peanut butter balls

Christmas traditions is making our delicious peanut butter balls.  We love these so much we end up quadrupling the recipe but then eat them and have to make more!
