Oregon

We LOVE going up to Oregon and we got to this summer.  We stayed at Uncle Chuck and Aunt Ann.  We went to some Lava fields, if you look close in the picture saw whales out in the ocean,  played on the beach, picked blackberries that line Chuck and Ann's property, we canned tuna, slid down some sand dunes at a lake, went crabbing and fishing.  Ellie even caught a star fish! We had a blast and can't wait to go back!

The city of Herriman has this man made lake that we went to with some of our friends.  It was really fun for the kids to play in the sand and the water and the weather was fantastic.

AKS Family Reunion

We have our AKS family reunion every other year and this was the year of our reunion.  Uncle Kirks family was in charge this year and they reserved the church owned Heber Camp in Heber City.  It was so much fun.  We go to sleep in cabins, go down a zip line, we played volleyball, did crafts and just had a great time! It was fun to reacquaint ourselves with our cousins.

July 2011

Dad and the boys went to our Stakes father and sons campout so Mom and Ellie had a spa night.  We put on masks, soaked our feet then painted them.  It was a great time!

July 4th

We had a great 4th of July.  Carey, Chantel and their kids were in town.  They were moving from Arizona to Virginia so stopped in Utah for a while to visit.  We went to the West Jordan Parade.  Grandma made each of us a bag full of goodies as we watched the parade.  Then we roasted hot dogs and did fireworks.
