Let the Halloween festivities begin!!

So thanks to Jacy, we headed out to the pumpkin patch tonight. The kids had so much fun picking out their pumpkin. They had a children's corn maze that I couldn't get the kids out of they loved it so much and they had a lot of tractor's sitting around which were exciting for the kids. When we payed for our pumpkins, we couldn't believe how cheap it was for the size and how many we got. It was fun to get the kids in the holiday mood!!

The funny things they do......

She's ready to ride!!
Yes, she has to have her goggles in the bathtub!!!

Kale loves looking at the "toy" catalogs I get in the mail. He makes himself comfortable and is entertained at least an hour!

Oh her hair..I put so much stuff in it to lay if flat but it just sticks up everywhere!

This week the aviary has been free so we took advantage...is he having fun???

"Came to pass"...she sat in this bucket holding this BofM saying that!!

Kale pushed our chairs together and they sit and play for the longest time in their "Boat"!

We found this hat at Old Navy and she doesn't take it off!

What a couple of weeks!

We have had quite the last couple of weeks. We started with Kale's Birthday. He turned 4 on September 28. Where has the time gone?? He was so excited and asked me everyday if it was his birthday yet. He wanted a "Police Party" so we had police hats, squirt guns, badges and handcuffs. He had a few little friends over for a little party-it ended up just as a play date with all the kids attention spans! Then Sunday we had the family over for a little party. It was fun and he got a lot of fun toys!

Then the next week, I got a bladder infection which doesn't sound like much but when your pregnant you don't get much warning (this is happened with each of my pregnancies). I called the doctor on call on Sunday night to get an antibiotic knowing I had one at that point but by Monday morning I was in so much pain and it felt like I was in labor. I spent the day in the hospital for them to stop contractions and pump me full of antibiotics, pain killer, and liquid. What an exciting day-on top of it all, it was our anniversary so that made it even more fun!! What a day to spend in the hospital. My mom was even all ready to babysit so we could go out and celebrate but she ended up staying all day while we spent the day in the hospital!!!

This is pretty amazing 3 posts in one day but this is funny--Kale's birthday is Sunday and he just randamly told be to make sure we get him a wheel chair for his birthday in case his legs stop working!!!! Oh you have to love your kids!!

I just complain so much about this but it really is fun.....I just don't know how you all find the time to do it. At night, I am so tired I just want to sit in front of the TV but during the day, I put Ellie down for a nap and then Kale starts asking "Mom, can I play a computer game"? I respond "not right now"........"Mom, now can I". This goes on for a while. We tried to hook up our old computer you know the bid tower and moniter with a keyboard! But we can't get it to work very well...probably because it has been sitting in our shed for the last couple of YEARS!! So all we have is our laptop that Kale plays on! Oh the joy.

Nate and I went to the temple last night. Our ward was in charge of the sealing this month each Tuesday night. We went as a bishopric (Nate is the 1st Councelor). The Bishops daughter watched our kids and I didn't think anything would go wrong. the Bishop brought her over because we all went together and I told her to put the kids down for bed at 7 pm. My kids are such great sleepers. I put them down and they are out within 10 minutes so I didn't think anything of it. We went out to dinner afterward so didn't get home until about 9:30. We walked in the house and I was expecting the babysitter to be sitting on the couch watching TV but the Tv was off and I could hear Kale's primary CD blasting downstairs. The babysitter walked around the corner to the bottom of the stairs and she looked like she was going to pull her hair out. I asked how it went she said Kale won't go to sleep. I could have died. The Bishop walked in with us because he always makes sure we don't pay his kids when we go to the temple and the first thing I thought was that she needed to be paid-with a huge tip. Kale was sitting on his bed with almost all his books scattered all over his bedroom floor and all his lights were on with his music really loud! Of course at bedtime I don't give in but how does the babysitter know!! He is at the age where he is trying to get away with what ever he can and oh did he walk all over the -babysitter! I went to Old Navy today to get her a gift card-I figure it's not cash so her dad can't say anything!!! I look back and man I hated babysitting!!!!
