Making Suckers

August 2013

We made suckers by lining up Jolly Ranchers.  We put them in the oven to melt and put a sucker stick in the middle of them.  They ended up really good and were super fun to make!

Letterboxing

August 2013

We started letter boxing this year.  We all have a stamp and a notebook.  We get online, find a box that someone has hidden and follow the clues to find it.  Once we have found it, we leave one of our stamps in a notebook hidden and use the hidden stamp to put a stamp in our notebook.

Smith Reunion

August 2013

Grandma Stokers brothers, their kids and all their kids got together at copper ton park for a Msith reunion.  It was a day filled with laughter, fun, and lots of food!

Bear Lake

August 2013

We have gone up to Bear Lake for the day for a few years now.  We all love to jump into the water and play in the sand.  Most importantly, it is just fun to be with the family!

Sleeping under the stars

August 2013

When we decided to homeschool this year, we kicked it off by sleeping under the stars to look at constellations. 

We started out having a great time but, we started getting eaten alive by all the mosquitoes.  We ended up sleeping in the living room!

24th of July Tabernacle Choir Concert

July 2013

Kale was old enough to go to the 24th of July concert at the Conference Center.  It was a beautiful concert with the Tabernacle Choir, a opera singer and a violinist.

Ellie learns to ride a bike!

July 2013

Ellie hardly needed any help learning to ride a bike! She got on and Dad helped her for a few minutes, then she was off.  Now she loves to ride all over the place!

Mini Music Graduation

July 2013

Ellie took a mini music class from Grandma.  She learned all the notes, how to count etc.  At the end of the class, she put on a presentation of what she learned and then graduated!

4th of July

We went to the next city over, Centerville, and watched their 4th of July parade.  It was such a fun day.  We took our breakfast, a couple of our neighbors and the kids had a great time watching the parade!

Ellie Learns To Ride a Bike

We took the training wheels off Ellie's bike and she took off!! She learned to ride her bike so fast and has been riding strong ever since!

Arches National Park

July 2013

We took a weekend trip down to Moab and hiked around Arches National Park.  It was such beautiful weather.  We camped, hiked and just had a great time!

New House-After pictures

Here are pictures of what our house looks like after we worked on it a few months before moving in!  We still have a lot to do but it is livable.  We love all the space we have in this house!

New Addition

We got a new dog! Her name is Ginger and we got her as a puppy.  She has really been a great dog.  She loves the kids and playing in the backyard!

Bear Lake

June 2013

We love driving up to Bear Lake to play in the water and play on the beach.  This time it wasn't the best beach but it was still fun to be in the sun and enjoy the water!

We bought this house in March 2013 but didn't move in until June 2013.  We kept the kids in school at Grandma and Poppy's house and came to this house on the weekends to do some work in it before we moved in.  Here are a few before and durning photos of the house!
